Employee Onboarding

Project Overview

Pronto Xi’s onboarding experience was heavily process-driven, fragmented across HR, payroll, IT, and compliance systems, creating onboarding delays, repetitive manual tasks, and low visibility for new employees.

This project focused on redesigning the onboarding workflow into a modern, progressive enterprise experience using IBM Carbon Design principles to simplify complex ERP interactions, improve completion rates, and create a scalable onboarding foundation for enterprise organisations.

Problem Statement

The existing onboarding process created operational friction due to:

Disconnected onboarding workflows | Excessive manual HR coordination | Poor visibility into onboarding progress | 

Complex form-heavy experiences |Limited mobile responsiveness | Inconsistent user guidance | High cognitive load for new employees | Delayed IT and payroll setup | Lack of workflow transparency | No centralised onboarding dashboard

Conclusion

The redesign transformed onboarding from a fragmented administrative process into a modern, guided enterprise experience that improved workflow visibility, reduced onboarding friction, and created a scalable onboarding foundation aligned with modern ERP and HR platform expectations.
